This stuff packs a punch. The flavor is so bold, and possesses such a thickness, that it can only be described as, “tasting dense”. If you can keep the plumes from getting caught in your throat, you will taste something like pink lemonade spiked with cranberry juice

Since the tobacco smells like a mix of melon and citrus, I would compare the flavor to that of a passion fruit. The flavor has the sweetness found in melon flavors backed with a bite you would find in citrus flavors. The sweat and sour components of the flavor are balanced in a way that anybody can enjoy this flavor at any time. The flavor is not over whelming and doesn’t leave you asking for more. Since this is a washed tobacco that contains little nicotine, this is one tobacco that should be in everyone’s stash.

The flavor is light, airy, and easy to overheat. The grapefruit flavor is spot on to its name though; there is a nice citrus flavor backed with a bitter flavor that you would expect from an actual grapefruit. If the tobacco can be smoked successfully, it could be a very pleasant smoke on a hot, muggy day. Since the flavor is not heavy and thick, like you might expect from Tangiers, it might just become a summer smoke for the more experienced hookah enthusiasts.

Ayam Zaman Lemon is like a spicy lemon-drop candy. The flavor is sweet, with a spicy tobacco undertone, which is present in all of the Ayam Zaman flavors—it’s not a drawback, it’s part of the appeal of the Ayam Zaman line. In this case, the spicy flavor doesn’t seem like an accident, as it sometimes does in other brands, such as Nakhla.

Romance is a truly elegant blend of floral Jasmine and mint. There are also some subtle citrus flavors, possibly lemon, as well. The mint is sweet, but not overpowering, allowing the floral flavors to really shine through.

Hookah-Hookah Grapefruit does resemble a real grapefruit. However, it’s much sweeter. Most grapefruits purchased in a standard grocery store are relatively sour, and that’s a sensation I expected in the tobacco, but was nowhere to be found. Social Smoke Orange tasted precisely as the name suggests—like an orange. It is sweet and citrusy, and like a real orange there is a subtle sour flavor underneath it all. If you’re familiar with Nakhla tobacco, you will notice that the flavoring element in Social Smoke’s orange is very, very similar to Nakhla’s orange flavor. However, where Nakhla’s orange has a noticeable foundation of the natural tobacco flavor, Social Smoke’s Orange has almost none, which creates a very realistic sensation.

Citrus Assault is a lightly sweetened hodgepodge of citrus flavors, set atop a light spearmint flavor. No particular citrus flavor is clearly dominant above the rest. The overall flavor is mild, bright and refreshing. In real world comparisons, the flavor is similar to citrus gum from Trident.

Hookah-Hookah Lemonade has a very mild, subtle lemon flavor with some added sweetness. the flavor is so light that some of the natural tobacco flavor shines through right from the start. Also absent from this flavor is a mint element, which would add a refreshing sensation typical to what most would equate to real lemonade.

Al Tawareg Orange Cream is a very mild, citrus-vanilla flavor with another element that gives it a subtle creamy sensation. It also bears a very similar sensation to cream soda. As the session goes on, smokers will likely find that there is a subtle tobacco taste as well. The flavor is very much as the name suggests, but more mild than one might expect.
