Cut & Composition

Hookah-Hookah Grapefruit is a long stringy cut. Something much like roll-your-own cigarette tobacco. There are no stems to be found. The tobacco is wet, but more oily than other brands. It will leave your fingers wet but not slimy.

The Experience

Grapefruit took more time than usual to get started. The richest flavor and smoke were available in the first fifteen minutes. The tobacco produced no head-buzz whatsoever during the entire session, which lasted about an hour an twenty minutes.

The Flavor

Hookah-Hookah Grapefruit does resemble a real grapefruit. However, it’s much sweeter. Most grapefruits purchased in a standard grocery store are relatively sour, and that’s a sensation I expected in the tobacco, but was nowhere to be found. There are some very subtle notes of what might be a floral jasmine flavor, or perhaps even a clove flavor.

The Insight

Grapefruit tasted best when I wasn’t trying to compare it to a real grapefruit. Though it does have some real similarities. Subjectively speaking, I found myself comparing it more to pink lemonade than to grapefruit.

Who Should Try This Flavor

It’s difficult to find a niche that this flavor really belongs to. On the one hand, it is a sweet fruity flavor, but on the other, it’s not especially realistic. My hunch is that if you’re a fan of ambiguous fruit, or cocktail flavors, you’ll probably really enjoy this one.
