Full Disclosure

This Nakhla Mix was purchased out of pocket from HookahJohn.com.

Rating

Based on: Flavor: 4.5/5, Smoke, 4.5/5, Resilience: 4.5/5, Longevity: 5/5

  • A bold flavor that packs a punch.
  • The smoke is thick and fluffy.
  • The flavor is hard to burn.
  • The flavor last throughout the duration of the smoke production.

Cut & Composition

Old man Nakhla seems to like his tobacco cut real long. This “Mix” line is a happy median between Nakhla Basha and Nakhla Mizo. If you still don’t get what I’m saying… its just kinda juicy.

The Experience

This review is based off my experience with the tobacco being smoked from a HJ mini Alien Phunnel Bowl and a Tangiers Small Phunnel while using Chronic Hookah Natural coals.

Since this tobacco is jam-packed with flavor, it is rather difficult to endure a long session. My compadre and I smoked this flavor for about three hours, in a Tangiers Small, before we began to feel nauseated and decide to halt the smeesh. I found that one round of Ch nats is all I can take before I hit the wall.

The Flavor

This stuff packs a punch. The flavor is so bold, and possesses such a thickness, that it can only be described as, “tasting dense”. If you can keep the plumes from getting caught in your throat, you will taste something like pink lemonade spiked with cranberry juice.

The Insight

I would say that this flavor is a general crowd pleaser. The flavor is sweet, sour, tart, and bold all at the same time. Although the flavor is kind of a kick in the head, it is a very tasty flavor. By slightly pressing the shisha between two pieces of paper towel you can take some of the kick back from the donkey and make the smeesh a little smooth and  pleasurable.

Who Should Try This Flavor

This compilation from Nakhla is perfect for the enthusiasts that love lemonade flavored tobaccos. Smokers that enjoy berry flavors may also like this flavor since the flavor contains a hint of cranberry.
