Sahara Smoke was kind enough to send us this tobacco for free to try it out and share our opinions. We always make every effort to review honestly regardless of what means were used to acquire the product. Hookah-Freak Scooby Snack is available directly from Sahara Smoke for $22.95 in a 300g jar.

Cut & Composition

Hookah-Hookah Dazed and Confused is a long, stringy cut tobacco akin to roll-your-own cigarette tobacco. It is very moist, but more wet and oily than sticky. There are virtually no stems to be found.

The Experience

Dazed and Confused began smoking in only a few minutes, with the richest flavor and smoke coming after about five minutes. In low-capacity hookah bowls, heat needed to be managed very carefully or else the flavor would die quickly. In Sahara Smoke’s Vortex Bowl, the smoke and flavor lasted around an hour and twenty minutes.

The Flavor

Dazed and Confused is a blend, starting with a very mild mint, which will fade as the session continues, then introducing an ambiguous, mild-sweet berry/melon blend.

The Insight

Dazed and Confused is ambiguous, but easy to enjoy. It’s not extreme, yet the flavor is not absent. The tobacco smoked best and most predictably out of Sahara Smoke’s own Vortex bowl. In standard bowls and smaller capacity HJ Alien bowls the flavor died out rather quickly in less than an hour.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Sweet berry and fruit fans will probably find this flavor inviting.
