Cut & Composition

Hookah-Freak Freak’s Choice is a long, stringy cut tobacco akin to roll-your-own cigarette tobacco. It is very moist, but more wet and oily than sticky. There are virtually no stems to be found.

Price & Quantities Available

  • 300g – $22.95
  • 1kg – $74.95

The Experience

Freak’s Choice began smoking almost immediately. The flavor was available right away as well. The richest of flavor and smoke were available within a few minutes. The smoke was adequate, but not especially impressive, and did not produce any kind of head-buzz. The session lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes before the flavor was spent.

The Flavor

Freak’s Choice is an interesting flavor that seems to combine a subtle toffee flavor with an ambiguous fruit or melon mix. Overall the flavor is somewhat strange at first, neither dark, nor bright, neither refreshing nor spicy. The best way to describe the flavor may be that it is something like a light, sweet after dinner dessert.

The Insight

As with almost every Hookah-Freak flavor, heat management is crucial. The flavoring element in the tobacco is fragile and can easily be ruined with too much heat. The best results with this tobacco are almost always achieved with Sahara Smoke’s Vortex Bowl.

Who Should Try This Flavor

People who like unconventional flavors and dessert flavors will probably feel right at home here. This flavor may also serve as a great bridge-building flavor for folks who enjoy fruit mix flavors but want to try something a little darker.
