Cut & Composition

Social Smoke Orange is a medium cut, slimy tobacco with a few small stems, none of which have been found disruptive to the packing process.

Price & Quantities Available

  • 100g – $10.95
  • 250g – $20.95
  • 1kg – $69.95

The Experience

Social Smoke’s Orange wasted no time getting started. The richest of smoke and flavor were available in the first five minutes using an HJ Alien Mini Phunnel bowl. The tobacco showed no adverse behavior, even with somewhat significant changes in heat, and overheating (within reason) did not noticeably distort the flavor. The session lasted about an hour and forty minutes before the smoke and flavor dropped off.

The Flavor

Social Smoke Orange tasted precisely as the name suggests—like an orange. It is sweet and citrusy, and like a real orange there is a subtle sour flavor underneath it all. If you’re familiar with Nakhla tobacco, you will notice that the flavoring element in Social Smoke’s orange is very, very similar to Nakhla’s orange flavor. However, where Nakhla’s orange has a noticeable foundation of the natural tobacco flavor, Social Smoke’s Orange has almost none, which creates a very realistic sensation.

The Insight

Few orange flavors truly taste like real oranges. Most more closely resemble orange candy or orange soda, Social Smoke’s Orange truly tastes like oranges. This makes it a great flavor on its own, but also makes it a great flavor for realistic mixes and tobacco recipes.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Fans of Nakhla’s Orange flavor will likely really enjoy this one, as well as most who enjoy citrus compositions. The flavor may also find favor among those who enjoy hyper-realistic fruit flavors.
