Social Smoke says prices will go ‘down… way down.’

A representative from Social Smoke says that the prices of products sold in their online store will be going down, “way down”. The source says, “Basically we will be the cheapest (or match the cheapest) on the internet for many items.”

The circumstances leading to this drop in prices, as well as where about the prices will land, are still unclear. Also still unclear are exactly what products will experience the most significant drop in prices, since the company’s website sells a full gamut of hookah tobacco and accessories.

Pure speculation says that tobacco may not be the aim here, since state tobacco tax often leaves manufacturer’s and vendors with little room for discount. While on the other hand bulk deals with manufacturers can lead to deep wholesale discounts on hookahs, charcoal and accessories. A financial benefit that Social Smoke could choose to pass on to their customers.

Social Smoke tobacco currently competes head to head with other ‘premium’ tobacco brands, such as Starbuzz, Tonic, Fusion and Fumari, at about $20 per 250g of tobacco.
