Cut & Composition

Social Smoke Banana is a medium cut, slimy tobacco with a few small stems, none of which have been found disruptive to the packing process.

The Experience

Banana began smoking from the very first draw. Though the flavor and smoke was available almost immediately, they became the richest after about five minutes. The tobacco responded very well to changes in heat and did not easily become harsh. The smoke produced no head-buzz. The session lasted about an hour and a half before dying out.

The Flavor

Banana is a surprisingly realistic version of the real fruit flavor. It is, however, still a strangely awkward caricature of the real thing. It is a sweet, simple, very mild, candy banana. Almost identical to the Runts candies that you used to find in the single serving candy machines at the barber shop.

The Insight

Being a relatively realistic version of the flavor, Banana is a great mixer. It predictably blends with common banana based mixes like, Strawberry Banana and Banana-Clove. However, because it’s very mild, it hides easily under slightly stronger flavors. If you’re mixing for the first time, you’ll want to use more than you’d expect.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Fruit fans will probably enjoy this flavor. Spice fans may also get a kick out of this, but I’d pick up a 100g tin before you really dive in.
