Tonic Da Vinci Tobacco

Full Disclosure

Tonic Shisha was kind enough to send us this tobacco for free to try it out and share our opinions. We always make every effort to review honestly regardless of what means were used to acquire the product. Tonic Shisha Tobacco is available for $18.95 in a 250g tin from Hookah-Shisha.com.

Rating

Based on: Flavor: 5/5, Smoke:5/5, Resilience: 5/5, Longevity: 5/5

Cut & Composition

Tonic Da Vinci is a “Made in America”, medium cut, extremely juicy tobacco. There are some moderately sized stems, some of which need to be plucked out to avoid any disruption in packing the bowl.

The Experience

Da Vinci smells strongly of sweet peaches. Once the session began it took less than 10 minutes for the tobacco to start producing thick, rich smoke and flavor. The smoke was noticeably thick and white, and the tobacco resisted changes in heat very well, keeping the bowl from getting harsh. The session lasted nearly two hours.

The Flavor

While the flavor is distinctly peaches, the flavor is also sweet and mild and surprisingly realistic. In spite of no mint element whatsoever, the peach flavor is impressively refreshing.

The Insight

Da Vinci is among my newest favorites from Tonic. Although I’m typically very critical of peach flavors, Tonic’s Da Vinci seems to stand out. I’m very impressed.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Fans of peach flavors will most likely very much enjoy this one.
