Cut & Composition

Evolution Tea Peanutbutter is made of tea leaves instead of tobacco. The cut is wide and clumpy, unlike Hookah-Hookah tobacco which is shredded into long strings. Peanutbutter is very wet and slimy, likely as a result of increased molasses, honey or some similar ingredient.

Price & Quantities Available

  • 50g – $4.35
  • 250g – $19.95

The Experience

Evolution Tea Peanutbutter smells exactly like a fresh jar of peanut butter. Peanutbutter will begin smoking relatively quickly and will produce flavor just the same. However, the flavor and the smoke are a constant juggling act. The flavor can be easily burned off, leaving only the taste of burning tea—which actually isn’t altogether unpleasant. The problem is that if you heat the tea enough for it to produce excellent clouds, the flavor will be gone in less than 15 minutes. However, if you can put up with very thin smoke, the flavor will last closer to an hour.

The Flavor

Peanutbutter. It tastes exactly like peanut butter. In fact, the flavor is so familiar, many who have tried it have actually found themselves smacking the roof of their mouth as if they’d actually eaten a spoon full of peanut butter. Unlike real peanut butter, this rendition is a bit sweeter, perhaps a bit more akin to what you might find in a peanut butter cup filling.

The Insight

The juggling act of flavor and smoke will make this something most smokers aren’t going to want to fuss with. I personally find myself frustrated that I have to choose. I expect most will feel the same way.

Who Should Try This Flavor

I’d only recommend those who have a strong commitment not to smoke tobacco try this one. Smokers who enjoy tobacco can get a similar taste from Hookah-Hookah’s peanut butter flavor without having to make tough decisions. And, of course, if you’re giving this one a shot, you’ll probably want to be someone who loves peanut butter.

The hookah hookah tobacco are too harsh for me.

Hookah-Hookah tobacco requires less heat than many other brands. When appropriate heat is used, the tobacco is very smooth. Try reducing the heat. You will probably be pleasantly surprised.
