Full Disclosure

Sahara Smoke was kind enough to send us this tobacco for free to try it out and share our opinions. We always make every effort to review honestly regardless of what means were used to acquire the product. Hookah-Hookah 7 Spice is available directly from Sahara Smoke for $14.95 in a 250g jar.

Cut & Composition

Hookah-Hookah 7 Spice is a long stringy cut. Something much like roll-your-own cigarette tobacco. There are virtually no stems to be found. The tobacco is wet, but more oily than other brands. It will leave your fingers wet but not slimy.

Price & Quantities Available

The Set-Up

Hookah-Hookah 7 Spice was reviewed using a Al Fakher Large Solid and a HJ Alien Mini Phunnel Bowl.

The Experience

7 Spice began smoking surprisingly quick. There was substantial smoke in the very first draw, and the flavor, while not full yet, was present. The smoke was adequately thick, in fact, thicker than you might expect when actually handling the tobacco and thicker than most may be used to. The bowl, even when using only a small amount of tobacco in a bowl such as the HJ Alien Phunnel bowl, smoked for about an hour and a half, though after about an hour the flavor began to fade, but was still very pleasant.

The Flavor

7 Spice tastes much like you might expect. Spicy. The most dominant flavor is cinnamon, but it is very mild, mixed among other spice flavors such as clove and cardamom. The other spices, whatever they may be, are ambiguous, but no doubt add to the whole experience in ways we can’t confidently nail down. Overall, however, the flavor is dark and spicy, but still light and mild.

The Insight

Critics of Hookah-Hookah tobacco have likely never tried this gem. At 15 bucks, 7 Spice is affordable, delicious and easy to smoke. It goes great with a cold glass of Dr. Pepper, or a hot cup of coffee. Additionally, it has an aromatic effect in the room that those not participating in the smoke have commented on with positive words. I have every intention of purchasing a larger quantity of this flavor. As a big fan of spice flavors, this one may easily make its way into a regular rotation.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Fans of spice flavors will most likely love 7 Spice. It may not be mild enough for floral or sweet flavor fans to get into it. But for just $4 for a 50g sample pack, it’s probably worth a shot.
